    Hi, Team Titleist -

With the next generation of All-New Titleist T-Series irons officially available for fittings and pre-orders, we want know... how do you clean and take care of your Titleist irons?

Personally, I get the biggest mixing bowl I can find in my kitchen, fill it up with hot water, and get to scrubbing the grooves and sole of each iron/wedge with an extra firm brush. Then when I'm done, I take one of the damp cloths I used to dry the clubheads and gently wipe my grips.

What do you do? Do you clean your clubs after every round? Periodically? What tools or gadgets do you use? Let us know your tips and tricks below!

Clean after every shot and quick wipe down when they get home.... Grips get the bucket every three rounds!
  3. I keep it simple. Hot water with dawn dish soap and a scrub brush. Rinse with hot water and dry with a towel.

I generally use a wet towel during the round to keep the clubs clean. the bag staff clean then after the round as well

On course cleaning is always with a damp towel and a Groove-It brush. Post round when necessary hot water and a bit of soap. Usually about once every 4-5 rounds.

GrooveIt Brush and golf towel after every single shot. Always keep them clean. I try to never put a dirty iron or wedge back in the bag after a shot. That usually keeps them pretty much 100% clean and tidy.

I'll use a very small amount of soap and warm water to clean the heads and grips probably every 10-15 rounds as well. The biggest (saddest?) adjustment to forged T-series irons is you learn to live with the dings that come with them clanking around or you rock the dreaded iron covers. I've always subscribed to the belief "tools not jewels" so my 2021 T100 irons show that. Plus I live in AZ so there is the occasional rock scratch on the bottom. Even without ever swinging them in the desert, those pesky rocks can still find their way into the rough and fairway occasionally.

Very similar to you. A pot of warm water to fit the irons in and use a toothbrush to clean te grooves and soles. I typically clean them after every range session and hit the grip with some fine grit sandpaper once every other month.

Clean'em up after every round with just a wet towel and an old toothbrush when needed. First fcus is on grips - so dirt doesn't transfer over - then get the heads nice and shiny.

Back in the bag with a final smirk knowing I've got #Number1inGolf ready for the next round.

    Enjoy the journey!
  9. I’m a bit superstitious, so I clean my irons after every single round. Warm water, soft brush for the grooves, towel to dry, and a quick wipe of the grips. Keeps them sharp—and keeps the golf gods happy!
  10. Most of the time, I use a magic eraser with soap and water for everyday cleaning. I also have a club doctor kit that I use every few weeks for a deep cleaning on the grooves and grips.

During my round, I'll inspect the club faces after impact to see if they need cleaning. I'll use the pointy end of a wooden tee to clean the grooves and then wipe with a moist towel that I have attached to my bag. After my round, I'll go over my clubs with the moist towel and remove all the visible dirt on the club's face, sole and baking.

I have a club cleaner/ball washer attached to my golf cart. Clubs are cleaned after every shot. I also have a brush that I keep in my cart and towels.
  13. I use the kitchen sink, similar technique for brushing and wiping. Takes me back to the thousands of sets I cleaned working as a bag boy.

I get fit tomorrow so super excited. No matter which ones it boils down to, my care will be the same. I clean each club after each shot so there is very little cleaning that ever needs to be done at the end of a round. Those kids hate me when I turn them away at the club drop off area. As for grips, every three or four rounds a give them a cleaning with dish soap and a soft bristle brush, then a clean rinse and towel drying. Good to go until an annual regrip with new ones. Just have to keep them away from the desert rocks in Arizona.
  15. Very similar. I wet a microfiber towel with a little dishwasher soap with warm water, and wipe the grooves, clubhead, and grip, then dry the clubhead and grooves with a dry microfiber cloth. I like keeping my grooves clean during my round as well with a wet microfiber cloth.

I clean after every shot and do the grips weekly

    Clean clubs are happy clubs.
Yes, I'm a bit anal about my club care. I carry a wet towel and a brush in my cart or push cart. Every shot leads to the same treatment. Wipe it down and brush the grooves before it goes back in the bag. Head cover goes back on the metals and putter too.
For those who wait until after a round to clean them, keep them out of a bucket of water. Not good for the epoxy, and not good to have water seep into your clubheads.
As for the kids at the club who offer to wipe them down after a round, I give them $5 and tell them not to worry about the clubheads, but please wipe down the shafts and grips.

As above, quick clean with grooveit out on the course, then a more detailed clean when I get home.
I like my clubs to be pristine I don’t understand why some people don’t care how dirty they are.
I want the best out of the clubs too. ️‍♂️

Every Saturday night, warm water soft brush to clean the grooves. Once a month, heavy scrub on the grips, they tac right back up.
