I am wondering if anyone in the Titleist Community has refurbished their older iron sets.
I have a set of 1991 Titleist Tour Model - blades (one iron to pitching wedge) that are showing the typical signs of wear from playing for a period of 5-10 years. These irons have been sitting in a golf bag in my basement for the past 20 years or so.
This iron set was the first full set that I had ever purchased and I have been a loyal Titleist player ever since. There is of course, some sentimental attachment to these irons that I just can't or won't part with. I typically bring out the one and two irons a couple times a year to see if I can still hit them. Much more difficult now that I am in my early 60's!
Any ideas or thoughts on getting them cleaned up and sparkling once again?
Thanks,
Kevin
